1.
Word Processor (Pengelola Kata)
A word processor is a computer application used for the
production (including composition, editing, formatting and possibly printing)
of any sort of printable material.
Word processor may also refer to a
type of stand-alone office machine, popular in the 1970s and 1980s, combining
the keyboard text-entry and printing functions of an electric typewriter with a
dedicated processor (like a computer processor) for the editing of text.
Although features and design varied between manufacturers and models, with new
features added as technology advanced, word processors for several years
usually featured a monochrome display and the ability to save documents on memory cards or diskettes. Later models introduced innovations such as spell-checking programs, increased formatting options, and
dot-matrix printing. As the more versatile combination of a personal computer and separate printer became commonplace, most business-machine companies
stopped manufacturing the word processor as a stand-alone office machine. As of
2009 there were only two U.S. companies, Classic and AlphaSmart, which still made stand-alone word processors. Many
older machines, however, remain in use. Since 2009, Sentinel has offered a
machine described as a word processor, but in actuality it is more accurately a
highly specialised microcomputer, used for accounting and publishing.
Word processors are descended from
early text formatting tools (sometimes called text justification
tools, from their only real capability). Word processing was one of the earliest applications for the personal computer in office productivity.
Although early word processors used tag-based markup for document formatting, most modern word processors
take advantage of a graphical user interface
providing some form of what-you-see-is-what-you-get
editing. Most are powerful systems consisting of one or more programs that can
produce any arbitrary combination of images,
graphics and text, the latter handled with type-setting capability.
Microsoft Word is the most widely used word processing
software. Microsoft estimates that over 500,000,000 people use the Microsoft Office suite, which includes Word. Many other word
processing applications exist, including WordPerfect (which dominated the market from the mid-1980s to
early-1990s on computers running Microsoft's MS-DOS
operating system) and open source applications OpenOffice.org Writer, LibreOffice Writer, AbiWord, KWord, and LyX.
Web-based word processors, such as Office Web Apps or Google Docs, are a relatively new category.

Numbers Spreadsheet Software
(Pengolahan Angka)
Kspread
KSpread is a word
processor that can run various operating systems. Additionally
KSpread has a display of menus and buttons are easy to use.
StarOffice Calc
Is a word processing
application that is multiplatform, which means it can run on different
operating systems. The
advantages of StarOffice Calc is its ability to identify and clarify the data
placed on the work sheet and helps users to create charts from the data work so
that it is easier to communicate to others. After
these files are created in StarOffice Calc can be run in Microsoft Excel,
making it easier. StarOffice
Calc has the ability to communicate and analyze data, as well as converting and
sharing of data processing applications to other numbers. As
noted above, StarOffice can import data from Lotus 1-2-3, and can convert your
data or files into PDF.
OpenOffice
calc
Is an open source word
processing application platform. Besides
placement of menus, commands and toolbar buttons are not much different from
excel, so users who normally use Microsoft excel will have no trouble in using
these figures processing applications. If
we save the file the document in OpenOffice Calc format, can be opened and
edited in Microsoft Excel, can also save documents as PDF files.
GNOME office-Gnumeric
Is a word processing
application from the GNOME office. GNOME
is opensource office that we can download and use for free. As
well as the multiplatform nature that we can install in a variety of operating
systems. If
users are accustomed to using Microsoft Excel that does not have trouble with
this word processor for windows Gnumeric is equipped with menus, toolbars are
almost similar to Microsoft Excel.
ABACUS
Is a word processing
application that has a very small memory and easy to use. Abacus
has a view that contains the menus and toolbars that make it easy to use
separately.
Wingz
Is a word processor that
can run various operating systems. Software
processing number issued by intelligent investment. The
advantage is its freeware although restricted to non-commercial use and not for
resale.
XESS
Is a word processing
application published by AIS (Applied Information system) and can be run on the
operating system LINUX, UNIX, OpenVMS, and windows. XESS
released in 2 versions the version made for the use of enterprise level
companies and lite versions are intended with the use of the individual.
Xxl
Word processing
application developed by universities Nice and can be run on a computer with
the Unix operating system. The
surplus is the application is equipped with functions of more complex
applications that do not exist in other number crunchers. Because
these functions are rarely used by users in general.
Lotus 1-2-3
Is a word processing
application released by IBM. The
surplus is used easily, improve the performance of users. Another
advantages is its ability to exchange documents with other applications, such
as Microsoft Excel.
Lotus 1-2-3 is a word
processing application oldest. As
a word processing application can be said to have the ability lotus 1-2-3 and
comprehensive features.
Ms Excel
Microsoft Excel is a
spreadsheet application program developed by Microsoft. Ms
Excel is one application program processing a number of the most widely used
because it has many advantages over other number processing software.
3. Chart
presentation software ( pengolahan presentasi ) .
Keynote is
a presentation software
application developed as a part of the iWork
productivity suite by Apple Inc. Keynote 5.1.1 was announced on
December 1, 2011 and is the most recent version for the Macintosh. It adds new themes, transitions and
animations, and the ability to control the slideshow with an iPhone or iPod
touch through the Keynote Remote application. On January 27, 2010, Apple
announced a new version of Keynote for iPad
with an all new touch interface.
Keynote began as a computer
program for Apple CEO Steve Jobs to use in creating the
presentations for Macworld Conference and Expo
and other Apple keynote events.[3] Prior to using Keynote, Jobs had used Concurrence,
from Lighthouse Design, a
similar product which ran on the NeXTSTEP and OpenStep platforms. The
program was first sold publicly as Keynote 1.0 in 2003, competing against
existing presentation software, most notably Microsoft PowerPoint.
In 2005 Apple began selling
Keynote 2.0 in conjunction with Pages, a new word processing and page layout application, in a
software package called iWork. At the Macworld Conference & Expo
2006, Apple released iWork '06 with updated versions of Keynote 3.0 and Pages
2.0. In addition to official HD compatibility, Keynote 3 added new features,
including group scaling, 3D charts, multi-column text boxes, auto bullets in
any text field, image adjustments, and free form masking tools. In addition,
Keynote features three-dimensional transitions, such as a rotating cube or a
simple flip of the slide.
In the fall of 2007, Apple
released Keynote 4.0 in iWork '08, along with Pages 3.0 and the new Numbers spreadsheet
application.
4. Graphies
processing software ( aplikasi desain grafis / aplikasi pengolah gambar ).
In computer graphics, graphics software or image
editing software is a program or collection of programs that enable a person to
manipulate visual images on a computer.
Computer graphics can be classified into two distinct
categories: raster graphics and vector graphics. Many graphics programs focus exclusively on
either vector or raster graphics, but there are a few that combine them in
interesting ways. It is simple to convert from vector graphics to raster
graphics, but going the other way is harder. Some software attempts to do this.
In addition to static graphics, there are animation and video editing software.
Most graphics programs have the ability to import and
export one or more graphics file formats. It
also can export files to one or more files. Computer graphics also can be used
by other editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Pizap, Microsoft Publisher,
Picasa and etc. Other software that can be used is animation software, video
editor software such as Windows Movie Maker etc.
The use of a swatch is a palette of active colours that
are selected and rearranged by the preference of the user. A swatch may be used
in a program or be part of the universal palette on an operating system, it is
used to change the colour of a project, that may be text, image or video
editing. Vector graphics animation can be described as a series of mathematical
transformations that are applied in sequence to one or more shapes in a scene.
Raster graphics animation works in a similar fashion to film-based animation,
where a series of still images produces the illusion of continuous movement.
